North Canton Elementary held its annual Fall Festival on Friday, September 28. We had a huge turnout from the community with a wide variety of activities. PTO hosted the dunking booth which was graciously donated by Canton Youth League.
Each grade level hosted their own activities, including raffles, 50/50 drawing, glow sticks and bracelets, BINGO, hair painting, Ms. Arty Pants, hay ride, inflatables, and much more. The guidance department made cotton candy and the computer lab made fresh popcorn. Our NCE office staff held a booth to sell North Canton merchandise. Our cafeteria staff provided a hot dog supper along with funnel cakes, nachos, and slushies.
A special thanks to Canton Police Department for providing security patrol and portable lighting. Thank you to Pisgah Senior High School Carpentry for making and donating a spinning wheel to PTO and to the Holland family for donating the hay for the hayride. We just can’t express how much appreciation we have for our community for coming out and supporting us this year. Smiling children, outside and environment and a support system beyond measure gave North Canton Elementary a Fall Festival that we are proud of!
