Books “Aargh” Hidden Treasures!

Parents-

We are so excited about our new summer reading program at NCE.  Summer can be a fun time for students but research shows us that the lack of reading throughout the summer will result in the Summer Slide. This means your child could lose valuable reading skills previously learned.  Our goal is to keep your child reading continually!

The library will be open every Wednesday from 10:00-12:00 starting June 19th and ending August 7th.

Students may check out three library books and K-2 students will also check out four leveled readers.  Incentives will be awarded for attendance.  Each week at 11:00 a staff member will read a book which relates to our theme.
